Redmi K100 Pro Max Leak Points to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Chipset and LPDDR6 RAM Support

A new leak has outlined specifications for the Redmi K100 Pro Max, Xiaomi's next sub-flagship smartphone expected later this year.
The device will reportedly use Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor manufactured on a 2nm process node and pair it with LPDDR6 memory along with high-capacity UFS 5.0 storage.
Prominent Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station shared details on prototypes of devices running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
According to rumors, the Redmi K100 Pro Max codenamed Q11X is among those in testing and features configurations with up to 16GB of LPDDR6 RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

Our internal search team indicated a 200-megapixel main camera using a 1/1.28-inch sensor size together with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens upgraded from the predecessor model.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro variant is the only member of the new generation to support LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage while the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 sticks with LPDDR5X.
Prototypes equipped with the top-tier memory options may see adjustments to camera image quality to offset higher component costs for the chipset, RAM, storage and display.
Digital Chat Station stated that devices shipping with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro "will offer a core experience boost to users, despite the imaging trade-offs."
The Redmi K90 Pro Max released in late 2025 used a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and carried a 50-megapixel triple rear camera array with the main sensor at 1/1.31 inches.
The K100 Pro Max would therefore bring a larger primary sensor and faster memory subsystem while shifting emphasis toward overall performance and display upgrades rather than major camera leaps.
Xiaomi has made no official announcement regarding the K100 series. The lineup is projected to reach the Chinese market in October 2026 based on the release cadence of prior K-series models.
Internationally the Redmi K100 Pro Max is expected to appear as the POCO F9 Ultra in the first quarter of 2027 alongside the standard K100 rebranded as the POCO F9 Pro.
The Redmi K100 Pro Max and its global counterpart remain unannounced with all specifications drawn from leaks that have not been verified by Xiaomi or Qualcomm.
