Pixel 11 Pro Preorders Are Live: Price, Deals and AI Upgrades
Ten years ago, Google introduced its original Pixel handset with a promise to control both hardware and software under one roof. Today from New York, the tech company unveiled its latest phone lineup, sending four new handsets into pre-order status ahead of an August 20 store release.
Google opened pre-orders today for its Pixel 11 smartphone lineup, revealing four distinct models with higher pricing on select flagship devices.

The lineup includes the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Customer shipments and store availability begin on August 20.
Google eliminated the 128GB base configuration across the entire family. The standard Pixel 11 starts at 256GB of storage for $899, keeping the same entry price as its predecessor.
Price increases affect two top-tier devices this year. The Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold costs $1,899, representing a $100 price increase for both phones compared to previous models.
The manufacturer built every phone on its Tensor G6 chip, developed with Google DeepMind. Hardware protection uses a Titan M3 security coprocessor paired with quantum-safe secure boot architecture.
Pro models feature an updated edge-to-edge camera bar with an ambient LED lighting ring called HiLight. The lights encircle the flash module to signal incoming calls and updates when the screen faces down.
"When your phone is face down, HiLight gently glows to give you a visual cue to pick up your phone, or stay in the moment."
Camera hardware on the Pro and Pro XL features a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
The telephoto lens admits 30% more light than previous models. Software processing allows 120x zoom on Pro models.
Front-facing photography on Pro editions uses a 42-megapixel sensor with a 103-degree field of view. The standard Pixel 11 uses a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 10.5-megapixel selfie sensor.
Retailers and wireless providers published individual promotion terms alongside the announcement. The Google Store offers trade-in savings up to $1,000 for customers buying the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Buyers purchasing the foldable through the Google Store or Amazon receive a free Pixel Watch 5 or a $350 gift card. Google Fi Wireless offers up to $799 in monthly credits spread over 24 billing cycles.
Google is also giving customers the option to apply the $200 Pro-series gift-card value toward a Pixel Watch 5 purchased with the phone, raising the benefit to $250 off the watch. The Pro Fold gets a stronger bundle, with the 41mm Pixel Watch 5 available free under the Google Store offer.
Carrier promotions are more aggressive.
Verizon says customers adding a new line can receive up to $1,100 off a Pixel 11 series phone with an eligible trade-in, while existing customers can receive up to $900. Verizon says the discounts are delivered through monthly promotional credits over 36 months.
The carrier is also offering a Pixel 11 Pro 256GB for $15 per month on the device portion of its Simplicity plan, with promotional credits bringing the combined advertised cost to $45 per month for qualifying new customers. Another Verizon option puts the Pixel 11 Pro on its Simplicity Pro plan with an annual upgrade route.
T-Mobile is competing directly on the same front.

T-Mobile says the offer requires a new line or an eligible trade-in on specified plans and is delivered through monthly bill credits. Its Pixel 11 Pro pricing starts at $30.56 per month on a standard 36-month equipment plan, based on a $1,099.99 full retail price.
That distinction matters because carrier "free" offers usually depend on staying with the qualifying plan long enough to receive the full promotional credit. Leaving early can stop future credits and leave the remaining device balance due under the carrier's financing terms.
On-device intelligence relies on the Gemini Nano 4 model, running on a TPU with 50% more processing capability. Features include proactive suggestions via Magic Cue, automated calls for reservations, and real-time speech translation.
Display brightness reaches 3,600 nits peak on Pro models and 3,000 nits on the standard device. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers all screens, with Pro models adding a specialized anti-scratch coating.
Wireless charging speeds increase through Qi2.2 certification, supporting up to 25W on compatible pads. Wired fast charging powers the Pro battery to 55% in 30 minutes.
Google pledged seven years of operating system updates, security patches, and feature drops across the lineup. Every phone ships with Android 17 installed.
The Pixel 11 Pro is now in preorder in the US and other launch markets, with the first retail availability scheduled for August 20. Google's US pricing begins at $1,099 for 256GB, while launch promotions, trade-in credits and carrier financing can bring the effective cost considerably lower for qualifying buyers.
